Sally’s Kitchen came to Toronto Car Wrap to transform a plain full-size step van into a branded food truck for its operations in Saugeen Beach. The project included custom wrap design and full vehicle wrap installation, with a focus on bold branding, long-distance readability, and consistent graphics across the truck.
Our job was to design and install a full food truck wrap that grabs customer attention in crowded, high-traffic environments, beachfronts, festivals, and street corners. While vinyl wrap cost is dependent on a variety of factors, a professionally wrapped food truck can provide ongoing brand visibility wherever the vehicle operates.
Food truck wrap design lives on legibility and personality. Here’s how we approached both for Sally’s Kitchen:
The wrap pairs a deep ocean blue with a warm orange band that runs along the perimeter of the truck. This combination evokes the eye instantly, and nods to the brand’s beachside setting without a more complex graphic.
The “Sally’s Kitchen” logo spans the full side of the food truck, framing the serving window on the service side. There is zero ambiguity about who serves the food, even from across a beach parking lot, or even across the beach.
Take a closer look and you’ll find a subtle tonal pattern of sandwiches, fries, burgers, drinks, and snacks printed across the wrap. It adds texture and brand personality up close without taking away from the logo at a distance.
Sally’s Kitchen’s brand mascot already gives them a strong identity. We made sure it appeared on the cab doors and the rear of the food truck, giving the wrap an instant charm and a detail people will both remember and photograph.
The website, phone number, and Instagram handles are printed large in high-contrast white and blue against the orange band. Patrons noticing this truck can read the URL without squinting. Clear calls to action are crucial elements of an effective vehicle wrap design.

Step vans are one of the more demanding food truck vehicles to wrap. This food truck’s body includes riveted panels, deep seams, a cut-out serving window, exhaust equipment mounted on the roof, and rear service doors. Each part is a place where a rushed install could create a disappointing result.
Our installers wrapped the sides, front, and rear of the food truck, working the vinyl around all the rivets, panel joints, and hardware for a seamless, bubble-free finish that looks like paint. The design was mapped to the truck’s dimensions before printing, so the logo placement is exactly where it was planned to be, the orange bands line up cleanly around the vehicle’s corners, and the artwork frames the serving window.
Graphics continue across the rear doors and contact panel, so the truck advertises from every angle, including to the traffic behind it.
The result is a durable, maintainable, and weather-resistant commercial food truck wrap built to handle sun, rain, and a full season of beach service.
A food truck wrap is advertising you pay for once and run every day. Unlike ads that stop the moment you stop paying, a professionally installed vinyl wrap has a great ROI for years. For a mobile food business, the food truck is the storefront, the signage, and the ad campaign at every event, parking lot, or drive in between.
For Sally’s Kitchen, every stop in Saugeen Beach doubles as a brand impression for thousands of tourists and local beachgoers before they’ve made a single sandwich.
Toronto Car Wrap combines bold custom design graphics with precise installation to get your business noticed. Whether you’re launching a new food truck business or rebranding an existing vehicle, we handle everything from concept and design to print and install.
